About Dr. Scott McQuiston
Dr. McQuiston has called Northern Virginia home since 1994, when he first began private practice. Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the esteemed program at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in Richmond. He followed with a general dentistry residency in Rochester, New York, at the University of Rochester’s Genesee Hospital. A committed and enthusiastic life long learner, Dr. McQuiston has pursued study/training at NOVA Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. McQuiston is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Virginia Dental Association (VDA), and the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), where he has earned the status of Fellow, a distinction awarded only to those clinicians who pass a rigorous exam and meet a threshold of 800 hours of continuing education.
Dr. McQuiston is an avid fan of fine arts, and a talented artist in his own right, which has impacted his dentistry significantly. Providing his patients with full mouth rehabilitative, cosmetic and implant dentistry services, Dr. McQuiston showcases his ability to meet a clinical challenge while displaying his artistic skill.

Dr. McQuiston has been my dentist for many years. Every year my mouth needs major work. I told Dr. McQuiston his office is my second home. He works so hard to save my teeth from extraction. He is professional, painless, lacs even had to wake me up several times I have been so relaxed. His staff is also kind and caring. Loren keeps me calm when I feel overwhelmed with the work, and always works with me when scheduling appointments.

Dr. McQuiston is professional and polite. Whether you need a crown, implant or basic cleaning his practice is one top notch Dentistry in Virginia. I high recommend this practice. The office manager Loren is a Godsend.
