About Dr. Sepideh Moeinolmolki

Dr. Sepideh Moein has spent most of her career serving the communities of Orange County. She attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993.
Following graduation, Dr. Moein entered private practice while taking extensive post-graduate continuing education classes to stay current with the latest technology and dental treatments available. Now, at NU Smile Dental Centers, Dr. Moein focuses on the aesthetic aspect of dentistry, creating beautiful smiles through a variety of cosmetic dentistry solutions, including porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, composite fillings, and more. She is a certified Invisalign® dentist and LUMINEERS® expert with many years of experience.
Dr. Moein is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the Orange County Dental Society (OCDS). She received the "Top Dentist Award" from a group of her peers, as featured in "The 2011 LA Top Doctors and Dentists Award" and on the Fox Channel Dr. Oz Show.
Dr. Moein is the proud mother of two, Sofia and Nick. In her spare time, she volunteers at the school and enjoys family time with her children.

She paused on doing my fillings twice to help another patient and made me wait for 2 hours. I then was scared she was rushing through my fillings to get it done. She was also just dropping all the tools on my chest as she was doing the fillings which I thought was disrespectful. Also, others in her office kept coming up and asking random questions to her while she was working on my fillings, which made me feel she was distracted and unsafe. The only positive was the friendly woman who worked at the front desk.

They wanted me to fill out all the forms again that I had submitted through ZocDoc which was annoying... I insisted they already had all the ones they needed. Their x-ray bite grips wouldn't fit in my mouth and they only had one size. I booked an appointment for a dental cleaning but when I got there they said they dental hygienist wasn't in that day. Then I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to give them my insurance information again even though it was all submitted to them through ZocDoc.

Dr. Moeinolmolki is always caring, and makes me feel like I am getting the best treatment, even if it is different that what I anticipated. She does a great job of keeping the pain as low as possible. She explains everything she is going to do so I'm not nervous like I have been with other dentists.

This was my first visit and my cost was explained up front and I was allowed to make my decision, they did have to contact my insurance to confirm what's covered as I showed up after normal business hours. So far I'm pleased. I did not feel like I was buying a used car.

I found my whole visit odd from beginning to end. I could hear them talking about me on the phone, I think referring insurance, but without ever explaining to me what was going on while I waited for 30 minutes in an empty waiting room and they took everyone back right away who walked in after me. Then the dentist looked at my xrays and talked while looking at them but never looked at me or addressed me specifically and spoke such that I didn't know if she was addressing me or the hygienist or just talking to herself. I thought I heard her mention potential decay but she never brought it up again and told me how great my teeth looked and the hygienist went on and on aobut how good my teeth were so I thought everything was good. Then right before I left they had the administrative assistant come in to talk to me about my "treatment plan" which from what I gathered from the dentist and hygienist was just a regular cleaning every 6 months, but then the admin asst told me I need two fillings and I have a chip that needs to be filled. The whole experience was odd and I feel like they were too eager to drill and fill and didn't respectfully discuss my teeth with me. I will not go back and I would not recommend.

I went in for a cleaning, I was there almost an hour before they did it. I was being sold everything. Told I needed all of my fillings replaced, teeth whitening, and even invisilign for my teeth. Odd none of my previous dentists have said I needed any of those things.
