Everyone at the office was so kind and nonjudgmental about my avoidance of care. Dr. Mahzoon was kind, gentle, and efficient. She explained everything very clearly and used photos/x rays to show what she was talking about. She easily took care of something a previous dentist had really scared me about. The whole staff has been patient and helpful. I am so grateful to have found this practice!”

About Dr. Shabnam Mahzoon
Dr. Mahzoon has over 20 years of experience in dentistry and has managed several dental offices throughout the Bay Area. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Mahzoon graduated in 2000 from the highly prestigious University of California, San Francisco, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Mahzoon has made United Dental her second home by treating every patient like her own family. Her main focus is on the well-being of her patients, promoting preventive care, and educating them on their dental health. She has great work ethics and a gentle touch.
As an experienced professional with a passion for bringing the latest innovations to all of her clients, she uses the most up-to-date dental technology in all of her procedures. Dr. Mahzoon has received extensive cosmetic training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Mahzoon’s specialty and passion is cosmetic dentistry. This includes creating beautiful smiles using porcelain crowns and bridges, cosmetic bonding, natural porcelain veneers, metal-free tooth-colored fillings, natural-looking partials and dentures, and the very latest technology in whitening.

Everyone are welcoming and friendly. They provided me with clear instructions about my teeth. Also a clear break down of my payment. I recently had an extraction and it was very fast and painless experience.

I am a new patient so I was unsure as to what to expect but I felt welcomed to their office. The girls in the front were extremely friendly. Susanna who cleaned my teeth explained everything before she did her thing. I love Dr Mahzoon she was so friendly. I can’t say enough good things about this office! I was suffering with pain in my tooth for three months before seeing Dr Mahzoon. She was thoughtful, kind, understanding and took her time to really understand what my issue was. And to my shock, I walked out of the office pain-free!!!
Her office staff was helpful and friendly and I’m grateful for their care!!

I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and they got me in right away. Front desk reception was extremely friendly and the rest of the staff were too. Dr Mahzoon was very welcoming and answered all my questions. She was very clear in explaining and even considered giving me financial options for an implant I’m planning on getting.
