About Dr. Shabnam Rahimi
Dr. Shabnam Rahimi grew up on the East Coast and received her D.M.D degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Chicago. After graduating from dental school Dr. Rahimi went on to complete a year long advanced education in general dentistry residency at University of California in San Francisco where she gained advanced training with a heavy focus on cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Rahimi believes in working together with her patients to develop a treatment plan that provides the best comprehensive care, while achieving the patient's personal dental goals. Her objective is to customize each dental visit for her patients, as each one is unique and no two mouths are the same. She is a very strong advocate for patient dental health education, and for her patients to adopt preventative practices to maintain a healthy oral cavity and a smile her patients are most proud of. Dr. Rahimi's goal is to make each visit a comfortable and revitalizing experience for her patients. Dr. Rahimi has traveled to remote sites in the Dominican Republic to provide dental work on mission trips, a cause that she is very passionate about and hopes to continue doing in the future. Beyond the dental office, Dr. Rahimi cherishes family time above all else. As a loving parent, Dr. Rahimi spends most of her time with her three wonderful daughters who are her true purpose and supportive husband. Family is the cornerstone of their life, and their favorite thing is to create lasting memories and show their daughters different experiences especially while travelling.

Dr Rahimi is really personable and friendly. She answered all my questions and explained everything she was doing. She also checked in regularly to see if I was ok.
I would definitely recommend her and Kaylene (her assistant). They make a great team. Efficient and professional.
Only thing is the gloves have a weird smell. Everything else was great even the shades given to help with the bright lights. I would definitely return.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. Rahimi, DMD as my dentist in San Francisco, CA. She has been welcoming right from the very start. She has performed cleaning, written referrals, fixed my receding gum line, you name it. I trust her work and her advice completely, and all of her work has been outstanding! I highly recommend!

I had a deep cleaning done by Dr. Rahimi and it went very smooth and painless. She asked me how I was doing during the procedure making sure I am comfortable. I highly recommend her.

Excellent! Dr. Rahini was very thorough & explained things very well. I feel very well cared for. She also answered all my questions & was very thorough with her answers. A very pleasant visit all the around (Nora is terrific too!) How often do you hear that about a trip to the dentist!
