About Dr. Shahin Bina

Dr. Bina, a third generation dentist, has been involved in the field of dentistry his whole life. He moved to Los Angeles in 2002. After moving to Los Angeles, Dr. Bina used his extensive dental training in a unique way by working as an independent contractor providing oral surgery, root canals, and gum surgeries to over 30 offices around Los Angeles.
He truly loves what he does for a living, and enjoys helping patients get the smile they have always dreamed of.
Dr. Bina makes educated and informed decisions based on his extensive experience in dental specialties, as well as cosmetic and implant dentistry, and is highly demanding of himself in order to provide quality service at all times. His friendly, easy going approach, sense of humor, and personal warmth put patients at ease the moment they meet him.
Dr. Bina recently opened Encino Cosmetic & Dental Implants, in order to provide quality dental services all under one roof.
He is also the founder and director of Bina Dental Institute and will be conducting courses on oral surgery, dental implants, and local anesthesia in the near future. He has lectured about dental implants on numerous occasions. His aim is to share his vast experience with interested dentists so that they too can provide their best work to their patients.
Dr. Bina earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from SUNY Stony Brook. Following graduation he completed his General Practice Residency at NY Hospital Medical Center of Queens (affiliated with Cornell University) where he received extensive training in Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology, Periodontics (Gum surgery), Endodontics (Root Canals), as well as Pediatrics.

Dr. Bina and his staff are the absolute best! From scheduling a consultation all the way through the procedure and the results, everything was above what I expected. Dr. Bina is one of a kind and is incredibly genuine and everything you'd want from a Dentist - Dr. Bina is the only Dentist I trust with my smile. If you're looking for a Dentist, look no further.
