Dr. Shah Nia grew up in Atlanta and proudly completed all of her schooling within the state of Georgia. She earned her doctorate from the highly competitive Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Nia believes that her training is never truly over, as she is constantly furthering her knowledge by completing continuing education courses regularly to stay up to date on the latest advances in the field. Dr. Nia is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working towards earning her AGD fellowship. Dr. Nia loves helping her patients achieve their full potential when it comes to their oral health. She was initially drawn to dentistry because it is the perfect blend of art and science. After years of practice, Dr. Nia’s appreciation for dentistry flourished beyond anything she could have imagined in the beginning. There is nothing more rewarding to Dr. Nia than helping others along their journey to improving their health and feeling real confidence to smile. Dr. Nia understands that going to the dentist can be a nerve-racking experience for many due to previous dental traumas. Her empathetic approach and gentle touch has helped countless people overcome their anxieties and effectively reach their dental goals. Dr. Nia is especially attuned to listening and addressing her patient’s specific concerns, while still balancing a comprehensive approach to care. Dr. Nia’s strengths are her attention to detail, compassionate nature, and dedication to making sure her patients are comfortable through every procedure, no matter how big or small. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nia pursues her passion in art and getting outdoors. Dr. Nia’s overall experiences have reinforced a strong crossover between art and dentistry and she feels blessed to have the opportunity to use her skill set in a way that can positively impact the wellbeing of those within her community.
