About Dr. Shannon Ellermeyer

Dr. Shannon Ellermeyer is originally from Rochester, NY. She then received her dental degree from New York University in May 2020. There she participated in an honors program in special patient care focusing on treating patients with disabilities and with complex medical histories. Upon graduation she was the recipient of the 2020 International College of Dentists Leadership Award. She completed her General Practice Residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, which included training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Dr. Shannon is trained by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in dermal filler and Botox administration. She loves seeing her patients’ cosmetic results as well as the relief of pain and headaches from therapeutic TMJ botox. She is currently learning more about digital dentistry including two-visit digital dentures. Dr. Shannon enjoys combining her love for helping her local community with her love for running by racing to support local youth committees, including the New York City Marathon in 2019. She is currently training for the 2023 Nantucket Triathlon. She spends her free time hiking with her Labrador Retriever (Boomer), golfing, reading, trying new restaurants, going on her Peloton, and planning for her September wedding!
