Dr. Sheeba Zaidi is passionate about helping her patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile and is dedicated to maintaining a reputation of excellence in orthodontic care. Dr. Zaidi is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She completed a fellowship in orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics at St. Barnabas Hospital, New York. In her pursuit of excellence in orthodontic care, Dr. Zaidi underwent a rigorous board-certification process to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. This accomplishment was the result of hundreds of additional hours of preparation to demonstrate the judgment, skill, and knowledge required to provide the highest level of patient care. Her extensive training makes her uniquely qualified in the management and treatment planning of complex orthodontic and restorative problems. Committed to her involvement in the orthodontic community, Dr. Zaidi has served as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary of the Meriden Wallingford Cheshire Dental Society. She currently serves on the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) Peer Review Committee and the CSDA Annual Scientific Sessions Committee. Dr. Zaidi was honored to be a speaker at the CSDA Annual Session in 2018. Dr. Zaidi is also the Director of two continuing education study clubs: the Spear Club for Dentists and the Connecticut Dental Hygiene Club. These clubs were formed to educate, promote, and foster interdisciplinary relationships between oral healthcare providers. The Connecticut Hygiene Study Club is open to all hygienists in the surrounding area and provides free continuing education courses four times a year to meet state requirements. Dr. Zaidi is a mother of three and resides with her family in the Connecticut Valley.
