Dr. Shikha Dharia is excited to join the ToothDocs family as a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist.Known simply as "Dr. Shikha" to her patients, she was born and raised in upstate New York. She attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio,where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency followed by a one-year Fellowship in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She then completed a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry, also at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Shikha’s extensive postgraduate training has equipped her with advanced expertise in treatment planning, caring for patients with special healthcare needs and complex medical conditions, and creating a positive, anxiety-free experience for every child. She is passionate about fostering a warm, welcoming environment where every patient and their families feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. In addition to caring for patients at ToothDocs, Dr. Shikha serves as an attending at Montefiore Medical Center, where she oversees and teaches pediatric dental residents. She is comfortable treating patients with extensive dental needs in the operating room there. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shikha lives in New York City and enjoys exploring new neighborhoods, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
