Her calling became apparent to her when an accident fractured her front teeth, and she saw firsthand how transformative a dentist could be in someone’s life. Her fascination grew as she got older and realized that dentistry is the perfect union of art and science, her two passions. Her goal in dentistry has always been to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients to receive treatment and have their dental needs met. She understands the common cause of fear in patients and focuses her practice on striving every day to learn new ways to minimize dental anxiety and improve her patient’s experience. Dr. Salehi then attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with excellent credentials, while being involved in different organizations, serving as a tutor, attending several mission trips and pursuing her passion for volunteer opportunities to provide treatment for underprivileged members of society. Subsequently, Dr. Salehi completed a General Practice Residency in New York, with a focus on Advance Restorative and Surgical Dental Procedures, where she received training in multiple disciplines of dentistry furthering her education. Dr. Salehi is a trained provider of Invisalign® Clear Aligners and has completed occlusion courses with The Dawson Academy. Dr. Salehi’s passion for patient care and dentistry have motivated her to always pursue state of the art treatment for her practice. Dr. Shiva is an avid lover of the outdoors & wildlife and she has a passion for cooking.
