Dr. Mehta completed his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Connecticut, where he earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Dental Science degree. He continued his pursuit of excellence by becoming a Board Certified Orthodontist through the American Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as Program Director of the Orthodontic Residency Program at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry, where he helps train and mentor the next generation of orthodontists. Dr. Mehta has a particular interest in palatal expansion and MARPE. He has published extensively on these treatments and frequently delivers lectures to the dental and orthodontic community at major national and international conferences. His involvement in research and education allows him to stay closely connected to advances in orthodontics and bring evidence based care to his patients.
