About Dr. Shreena Patel

Since the age of 12, Dr. Patel wanted to be a dentist. She even worked as a dental assistant during high school. That experience fueled her passion to make a difference in people’s lives through dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed her General Practice Residency at University Hospital in Newark. Dr. Patel finds great joy in helping patients overcome their fear of the dentist. Whether it was because of bad experiences as a child or because they have anxiety, she has a way of making patients feel comfortable and actually enjoy their visit. She loves spending time with her three boys and her family. She also likes traveling to different countries, sampling different cuisines, and watching concerts, comedy shows, and Broadway plays.
