About Dr. Shu Ping Rong
Dr. Rong attended Stony Brook University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at Queens Hospital Center, Mount Sinai. She then pursued two years of implant training at Englewood Implant Center and two years of orthodontic training at Progressive Orthodontic Seminars in California.
A career in dentistry demands great perseverance and dedication to both scientific and humanistic knowledge for the sake of patients' well-being. Dr. Rong has developed these qualities through her academics, residency, and professional experiences over the years. She strongly believes that a high level of continuous education and training delivers the best dental care to patients. Dr. Rong pursues the most advanced techniques by attending continuing education courses, seminars, and hands-on lectures.
Dr. Rong has extensive experience in surgical and restorative implant dentistry and has performed over eight thousand dental implant procedures and restorations. She is also an Invisalign VIP Platinum Plus Adult and Teen provider, having earned this prestigious status by treating a wide range of comprehensive orthodontic cases with Invisalign aligners.
In her free time, Dr. Rong enjoys spending time with her family and painting, especially stippling. She has been a stamp collector since the age of six and now has more than three thousand types of stamps from different countries.
