About Dr. Soo Yoo

Dr. Soo Yoo completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, majoring in neuroscience with a minor in visual arts. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. In addition to her dental degree, she graduated from NYU with a certificate in public health and honors in pediatric dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Soo completed a residency in pediatric dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, where she received extensive training in behavior management, emergency dental care, and treating patients with special needs. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is board eligible. Born in South Korea, Dr. Soo spent her teenage years across Singapore, China, and the United States. Thanks to her unique upbringing, she loves to travel and explore different cultures. Dr. Soo resides with her husband, Wayne, and their adorable cat, Mindy. She is fluent in Korean.
