I hoped the office learns from things that came out of my visit:
1. Pushed for procedures that I did not want and refused to do my simple cleaning even after I stated I would sign any waiver so they are off the hook with insurance.
2. I waited about 45 minutes to be seen by provider.
3. Dental Asst was rude to me and would not let me finish talking, she was having a bad day and let it show on her bedside manner. I am sorry she was the only one working that day but that is not my fault that is a manager error.
4. Front staff had my husband fill out forms all over again even though we had already filled them out from the numerous texts we received from the office about our appointments, no one bothered to look in the chart.
5. Not once did anyone offer me a self-pay rate for a simple cleaning and then I could use my insurance for the deep cleaning that was recommended.
Provider called me to ask what happened. I recommend a better flow, communication between staff, and listen to listen

I would never step into this office again as there was extremely unprofessional behavior n non apologetic non empathetic upon not meeting my expectations i made an appointment with the dentist herself but her helpers were there and i didn’t want to be seen by them ! The receptionist acted unprofessional n didn’t apologize for the situation at all !

I had a great experience. Perfect dentist to go to if you have anxiety around dental work. I like to know what’s going on and they were great a communicating the answers to my questions. They offer Saturday and holiday appointments.

Terrible experience. My appointment was 4 a cleaning. At the appt they took pictures & the dr said I had 2 old fillers that she thought I should replace to AVOID a cavity. Then said “I have an appt @ 6 so schedule cleaning for another day.” Second appointment. The dentist starts drilling in my top&bottom tooth. The bottom wasn’t an area she showed b4. I stopped & asked wht she’s doing. She said she’s doing 4 fillers bc I had multiple cavities. I askd her 2 show me bc this is different than wht I was told & last appt she said I had 2 old fillers & no cavities. I askd “cavities form in a couple days?” She said yes. I told her to stop & just do the cleaning, she got mad abt it & left for 30 m w/o saying anything. I went to the front & askd if they were still doing the cleaning. The dentist stormed in & raised my chair. STOOD OVER ME & stabs my gums w the cleaning scraper; trying to rush the service bc of her attitude. After 2 stabs, I said nvm & left. 4 more details see my google review.

Staff act like they couldn’t tell if my insurance was in their network, even giving them my ssn. They only had 1 patient in their office when I arrive. They took me to the back to wait on the dentist. They were finish with the other patient at least 20 minutes after my arrival. They had me waiting for 1 hour!I could clearly hear them having convos with the patient in the waiting room. I went to the waiting room and inform them I was leaving. The assistant asked the administrator if my insurance went through, they stated yes. So the whole time they had me waiting in the back for nothing!! Then the dentist asked if she could check my mouth to see what was wrong!Nothing was wrong!I got permanent retainer removed and my orthodontist recommend a cleaning before they placed it back.I have a specific timeframe to get my teeth deep cleaned before the ortho places the retainer back. I do not recommend this Signature Smiles of Plano!
