Dr. Pokhrel cares for your soul as much as your smile, because she believes the two are fundamentally interwoven. Her joint passions for dentistry and mindfulness inspire her treatment philosophy, and she believes in crafting unique smiles that are able to tell their own stories.
Dr. Pokhrel is a big believer in continuous learning and completes over 100 hours of additional training each year, perfecting her skills and incorporating the latest developments in dental medicine. She cares deeply about her patients and goes above and beyond to provide them with the best care possible.

It was my first dentist experience in San Francisco. I decided to go there with good reviews from here. I got a dental cleaning from the assistant and he was okay.
I met Dr. Srijana after the cleaning and she checked one more time my teeth and found stains on my front teeth and cleared it magically! It was my stress since it's front teeth but now I can smile without worrying:) She was kind and cared for patients!

Dr. Pokhrel was amazing! Count me in the camp of people who don't meditate and who initially thought the concepts of zen and dentistry couldn't mix... but I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming, warm, and friendly everyone was. I got free matcha upon arriving and was able to watch Netflix with headphones (as opposed to lame TV commentary) during the entire cleaning. I've definitely been to many dentists over the past decade moving between cities, but she and her team are definitely the best to date!

I've been to the most expensive and well regarded dentists in the Bay Area, and none of them even begin to compare to the skill, care, or treatment you will get with Dr. Pokhrel. She is extremely compassionate and her passion for dentistry comes across in all of her interactions with you.

Going to the dentist can be awful. However Dr. Pokhrel is truly different. She has great bedside manner, a good sense of humor, and you can tell that she really does care about you and your dental health. Besides, she maintains a regular mediation practice - how cool is that?

Best dentist around. 2 other dentists tried to fix a messed up crown another dentist put in. Dr Pokhrel fixed it first time around without blinking an eye. I didn't even think it was possible. I had lived with it for 3 years because the other dentist said it was not fixable.

Anyone who is anxious about going to the dentist should visit Dr. Pokhrel! After being treated by her, I can never go back to a regular dentist again. Even if I end up moving from SF, I will be traveling back for my dental appointments just to be seen by her!

I've been to Dr Pokhrel for a cavity filling and a crown on two separate occasions and have always had a nice comfortable experience. She is now my go-to dentist and I finally feel like I have a dentist who is always looking out for me. She is very kind and gentle, and makes a genuine effort to educate the patient about each treatment she performs. I've recommended many of my friends to her.
