Dr. Sanford grew up as an Army brat. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She later completed a Master of Science degree from the University of Detroit and an Advanced General Practice Residency at the University of Detroit Mercy. During her residency training, Dr. Sanford received advanced experience in treating medically complex patients and performing a wide range of dental procedures including root canal therapy, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, periodontal care, and restorative treatments such as crowns, implants, and dentures. This additional training allows her to take a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating each patient’s oral health needs. Dr. Sanford enjoys helping patients maintain healthy smiles and believes in creating a comfortable environment where patients feel informed and confident in their treatment decisions. Outside the office, Dr. Sanford enjoys traveling, playing golf, attending concerts, and spending time with her dogs.
