About Dr. Stefanie Aquilina

Dr. Stefanie Aquilina is a Board Certified Specialist in pediatric dentistry. She is committed to providing the best care possible in a compassionate and personalized manner. Her goal for every visit is to make each child feel special and proud of what they can accomplish. Dr. Stefanie grew up on Long Island, NY. She went on to obtain her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. At UConn, Dr. Stefanie was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (awarded to the top 5 graduating students) and received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Award (presented to an outstanding student who exhibited leadership and dedication to the advancement of the dental profession). Dr. Stefanie completed her pediatric dentistry residency at UConn and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center where she received advanced training to provide the highest quality care to infants, children, adolescents, and children with special health care needs. After completing her residency, Dr. Stefanie practiced in Western Massachusetts where she was presented with the Top 10 Under Ten Award by the Massachusetts Dental Society. She went on to practice in Newington, CT during which time she was named “Top Dentist” by Connecticut Magazine. Dr. Stefanie is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as well as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is proud to maintain surgical privileges at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Stefanie remains active in the local dental community as the treasurer of the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists. When not in the office, Dr. Stefanie enjoys traveling with her husband, yoga, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
