Dr. Stephanie Karapetian is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Stephanie moved to New York City to attend New York University College of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She graduated completing honors programs in Public Health, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Pediatric Dentistry. During her time in dental school Dr. Stephanie was very passionate about global outreach, traveling to different locations around the world to provide dental care to those in need. It was her outreach experiences that helped her discover that working with children was her passion in dentistry.
Dr. Stephanie then continued to pursue her specialty training at NYU and Bellevue Hospital in Pediatric Dentistry. During her specialty training, she received a wide range of experience working with children with craniofacial anomalies, special needs, as well as children with complex medical histories. After graduating from NYU she continued to travel with the global outreach team as pediatric faculty and went to Cambodia in 2018 and Dominican Republic in 2023. Dr. Stephanie has always dreamed of creating a new outreach program to Armenia, where her heritage lies, to facilitate care for the children there who have no access to dental care.
Dr. Stephanie lived and practiced in Boston for 4 years after her training. She is now back in her favorite city seeing patients at our practice and holds a faculty position at NYU. Dr. Karapetian was a fantastic dentist. My child was nervous to go to the dentist and she made her feel safe and comfortable. Such a sweet and kind person. She was very informative and helpful.

Dr. Karapetian is a wonderful dentist! Very attentive to my daughters fear of treatment. Staff was very friendly. She was clear in her explanations and kind, Everything went smoothly. I will highly reccomend this Dr. to my friends.

I recently took my 3 yr old to see Dr. Karapetian. I cannot express enough how positive our experience was. We were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that put my child at ease. The doctor wasn't only highly skilled, but also wonderful in connecting w/ children. Throughout the exam, the dentist praised my child for their cooperation and bravey, which boosted their confidence. Provided us w/ valuable tips and advise on oral hygiene, specifically tailored for my daughter's age.

The doctor was amazing. She calmed all my fears and was so kind and good to my daughter. I was seen right away and the visit went smoothly. I will come back to see Dr. Stephanie Karapetian again.
