None of the services recommended by the office were covered by my insurance. I left without having my teeth cleaned (which is what my appointment was for) with recommendations to have like 7 fillings replaced and a special cleaning that would cost significantly more money.

I went for emergency pain. I was offered a 2-pt plan for a temporary crown today and permanent crown 3 wks later. I only wanted the temp crown to relieve my pain. I’m already getting a crown on the tooth next to the one causing pain. I said I wanted both crowns fabricated by the same lab and placed by the same dentist at the same time because that made the most sense, and because I am paying for everything out of pocket, I might get a better price from a lab for 2 crowns at once. Dr. Bodnar was opposed to placing only the temp crown. She said she would be doing all of the work on the tooth by prepping it for a temp crown, then I would be allowing my dentist to make the money by placing the permanent crown. I said “I will pay the amount you are charging for the work. I am not responsible for how you bill for temp or perm crowns.” She said she was unwilling to perform part of the work, despite my pain and willingness to pay. Clearly, my distress was not her primary concern. $$$ was.

Great experience! I booked an emergency consult for a chipped tooth and Dr. Miller was able to treat and resolve the issue right away. It looks as if nothing happened to my tooth and the whole experience was seamless. Dr Miller’s expertise and professionalism were top tier.

Quick. They offered a lot of other complimentary things like wax treatment for your hands while you wait for the doctor. I was mid wax treatment when the doctor was ready. That was the first time Ive ever had a doctor wait on me. It was a great experience.

I had a lot of anxiety heading into my appointment because it had been 8+ years since I went to a dentist (broke college kid who grew up in a single parent household. Just didn’t have the money for extra medical/dental stuff until now), but given all that, I left the practice feeling good about my appointment and what was done.
Front desk staff were kind and conversational, detailed and clear about insurance details and what was covered before moving forward with what I needed out of my appointment.
Dr. Miller and her dental assistant (apologies if I get the proper job title wrong) were easy to talk to, and thorough communicators that made sure I was comfortable with the work being done.
All-in-all, I’m very much satisfied with the experience I had during my first appointment with Dr. Miller and the Pure Dental Spa location in Ukrainian Village.

The office charged beyond what I felt reasonable for follow on services. I have great insurance, and it still was not reasonable for me to afford. They also advocated for many superfluous added services during the visit.

This dentist office is amazing! All of the staff are so nice and each person took the time to explain what they were doing. The technology is very modern and Dr. Miller and the staff is very skilled! Dentists have always made me anxious, but the amenities and the kindness of the staff made me feel much more at ease. When my previous practice closed, I took a long time to find a new one. I’m so glad I found Dr. Miller through ZocDoc. I will definitely be coming back Pure Dental Spa!
