About Dr. Steven Gelbart
Independence Dental is a full-service dental practice in Center City. We handle all dental needs from hygiene all the way to complex full mouth restorations. Please note "new patient exam and dental consultation" appointments do not include a cleaning, if you are looking for a cleaning, please choose "dental cleaning" as the appointment type. We also offer free validated parking in the garage of our building for your convenience.
Dr. Steven Gelbart earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. In addition to his formal training, Dr. Steven Gelbart interned with his father, Dr. Michael Gelbart, from a young age, growing with the practice and gaining valuable insight into the constantly changing world of dentistry. Although Dr. Gelbart focuses on implant and complex restorative cases, he offers exceptional general dental services for the whole family. Dr. Gelbart is also a preferred Invisalign® provider. Dr. Gelbart continues to pioneer innovative dental techniques and is resolute in his pursuit of state-of-the-art equipment for unparalleled care.
Steven Gelbart competed as an NCAA diver in the 1 and 3 meter competitions. Today he continues to enjoy water sports, tennis, and spending time with friends and family.
