“Went here for the first time today, and had a pretty great experience. Like many people, I saw the clock turn DECEMBER and realized I hadn't seen the dentist in [insert amount of time that will cause you maximum shame] and the benefits were about to run out. Insurance helped me find Dr Spivak and originally they had no openings for a few weeks. Luckily they were able to generously fit me in right away same day. Great office staff, odd little office right next to my least favorite parking lot in NoHo. But once inside... hygienist, AMAZING! She was super cool, extremely professional, very experienced. But what about that dentist you ask? Steven Spivak... WHAT A MENSH! Seriously, a very very cool guy with a ton of charisma, knowledge, and character. I look forward to my next visit. Which I cannot ever remember thinking or saying about a dentist. Dr. Steven Spivak! MVP. Thank you! You guys treated my choppers like champs!!!”

“My visit with Dr. Spivak went as great as one could imagine. He is very patient and explains step by step what he is doing and why. Thankfully he has gentle hands and wasn’t rough at all. I have had several bad experiences with dentists in childhood and have been putting off a dental visit for years (I know, horrible) as a result of that anxiety. However, Dr. Spivak and his team really eased my worries throughout the process and left me smiling and eager to schedule my next appointment. Dr. Spivak stands out because of his love for what he does and the amount of care he has for his patient. He asked me several times through the process if I was okay and that if I needed a break to let him know. His team carries that same attitude as the dental assistant(I wished I asked her for her name) was also kind, gentle, and patient. Leilani in the front desk was also very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Overall I had a great experience with Dr.Spivak and his team and would highly recommend!”

About Dr. Steven Spivak
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Spivak pursued a career in dentistry out of a desire to help those in pain and in need of proper oral health. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Spivak is committed to treating patients in a gentle, caring manner, with an emphasis on patient comfort and overall well-being. He values providing a full spectrum of oral care while working closely with patients to meet their specific treatment goals.
Dedicated to excellence in dentistry, Dr. Spivak is a member of the San Fernando Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
He has volunteered with Give Kids a Smile, an organization that helps provide children access to dental care, as well as with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and CDA Cares in San Diego. In his spare time, Dr. Spivak enjoys spending time with family, hiking, traveling, and caring for his French Bulldog.
