Dr. Steven Sutherland is a highly experienced general and restorative dentist who has been serving the South Bay community for nearly 30 years. Patients appreciate his gentle approach, clear communication, and commitment to providing modern, efficient care using the latest dental technology.
A South Bay native, Dr. Sutherland completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1996. Since then, he has completed more than 100 hours of continuing education annually and also works as a dental consultant, supporting other practices in elevating patient care and clinical standards.
Dr. Sutherland specializes in same-day CEREC crowns, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and preventive care. His focus is on delivering high-quality dentistry with minimal discomfort and fewer appointments—ideal for busy professionals and families.

The staff were very pleasant and patient and kind. The dentist was simply amazing and friendly, with the best laugh. He outline what I needed done and he listened to what I also wanted and that was great and unexpected. The office was nicely decorated and the wait time was very minimal. I felt very comfortable and was warmly accepted and the office administrator, Pearl, was kind and communicated well and clearly about their procedures and billing. She was very helpful, and the office was state of the art which made it easier to follow instructions for examining my teeth. So very happy I chose this dentist. Today, 3/6/2023, was a very good day.
