About Dr. Stewart Grauer
I am a lifelong learner, constantly seeking to expand my understanding, knowledge, and skills. Orthodontics is a field that involves continual developments in materials, techniques, and technologies. I spend over 100 hours a year on continuing education. By staying abreast of these changes, I ensure that my patients receive the highest level and quality of care possible. I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland, which laid the foundation for my commitment to excellence in orthodontics.
I’m originally from Oceanside, Long Island, and have called Port Washington home for nearly 20 years. Away from work, I am most often found with my wife, Karen, our children, Nina and Ethan, and our dog, Dexter. Being with my family and friends is very important to me. I also enjoy working out, meditation, and restoring antiques.

Dr. Grauer is extremely knowledgeable, kind, & explains everything to the patient and parent/s. Everyone who works there is warm and accommodating. We've had a wonderful experience with Dr. Grauer & his team, and couldn't be happier with our daughter's smile!

Going to the orthodontist isnt the most pleasant thing, unless its Stewart Grauer. It's the friendliest place with the nicest assistants. I would have never thought check ups could be this fun. Everybody here is helpful and professional, and make you see the positive in this.
