Dr. Stuart A. Feintuch was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1976. After graduation, he was accepted into a post-graduate hospital General Practice Residency program at Westchester County Medical Center. Upon completion of the program, he was invited to serve as an attending physician for the new residents.
In 1978, he entered private practice and established a highly successful practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where he has remained for over thirty-eight years. His practices are considered among the best in Bay Ridge, Great Neck, and Riverhead.
Dr. Feintuch has been happily married for 38 years to his wonderful wife, Fran, who holds a doctorate in Speech Pathology and is a professor at Queens College. He is the proud father of five children and six grandchildren. His son Benjamin and daughter Michelle have followed in his footsteps and are practicing dentists. His two sons-in-law, Robert and Steven, are also practicing dentists. His daughter Rachel will receive her doctorate in psychology, and his twin sons, Jeremy and Joshua, attend NYU Medical School. Dr. Feintuch's daughter-in-law Rachel (married to Benjamin) is a physician currently completing her radiology residency at North Shore University Hospital.
Dr. Feintuch and his family are devoted to providing their patients with the highest quality care. The offices are equipped with the newest technology and cutting-edge equipment. He is an expert in all phases of dentistry.

I am very afraid of going to the dentist. If you are also or just need a good dentist then I recommend you try this dentist office, I'm so afraid that it took me (3) years after my last visit at another dentist office to get enough courage to go again

Everyone was extremely pleasant and professional, however the office hygienist was extremely rough. Her technique was painful and she also pulled off a crown with her aggressive scaling. It had to be cemented back in. I was shaken up. The dentist was very nice and his assistant also was nice. They said they would speak to the hygienist. My teeth do look clean.

The staff and the Dr. Feintuch was very informative and took their time to answer my concerns and explain what was going to happen. I needed to have a cap replaced that had fallen out and was pretty nervous about the pain since I waited over a year to get this looked at. Surprisingly I barely felt anything and when I did, Dr. Feintuch alleviated it right away! I look forward to going back in two weeks to have my permanent cap put in.

The last thing I wanted to do was go to the dentist during the pandemic, but after chipping my filling during a 4th of July hotdog eating competition (inspired by Nathans) against my brother-law, I had too. I called several dentists in the Southampton area. No one called me back. Dr. Feintuch was the only dentist that I found in a reasonable distance that took my insurance (Not to mention the Dr. already had great reviews). I am seriously terrified of the dentist. Haven't been in several years. Check-in: There was a little misunderstanding when I checked in, had me down for a checkup and x-ray and not filling, but the situation was quickly corrected. The Dr.: Waited about 15 minutes before seeing the doctor and sensing my nervousness, he tried to make me feel comfortable. He assured me it wouldn't hurt, and he was right. Of course my entire body was tense throughout the entire procedure (esp. the drilling) and my eyes were closed. In short, my experience with Dr. Feintuch has made me a little less afraid of the dentist. Overall: The office is clean, following the Covid CDC guidelines. His staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. There is ample parking in the rear, check-in is in the front.

I had not been to the dentist in over 5 years and was extremely nervous... I looked at his reviews online and saw that there were other very nervous patients who had walked away with a sense of relief after not being to the dentist in a few years. I am so glad that I went ahead with this appointment and will definitely be back for my cleaning in less than a month!! Would strongly recommend to all my family and friends.
