Dr. Suhel is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. I highly recommend Apex Dental.”

About Dr. Suhel Dukanwala
Dr. Suhel Dukanwala is a General Dentist. He was born and raised in India and received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Bangalore, India, in 2010. After completing dental school, Dr. Dukanwala began working with a nonprofit charitable hospital serving underprivileged people and worked closely with many specialists as part of a team. He moved to the United States in October 2011. Initially, he worked as a dental assistant in the United States for three years. In 2015, he started the International Dental Degree Program at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2017. Dr. Dukanwala is very passionate about delivering excellent patient care in a cheerful, friendly environment. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Illinois State Dental Society. Dr. Dukanwala constantly strives to learn more, updating his knowledge in dentistry through continuing education courses and applying them to everyday practice to provide the best possible care for his patients. He is fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports such as volleyball, cricket, and badminton. He also enjoys hiking and exploring new places.

Excellent service. The staff is friendly. Doctor Suhel takes the time to thoroughly explain the treatment plan, addressing all my concerns with patience and clarity. The procedures were performed with great care, minimizing discomfort. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist.
