About Dr. Sumit Makker

Dr. Sumit Makker was born and raised in Bellevue, Washington. He attended the University of Washington for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Makker practiced privately for several years in the Skagit County region of Washington and later in the Seattle area before taking over the practice from Dr. Tufarolo. He has completed numerous continuing education hours in implant dentistry, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Makker holds a fellowship from the International Congress of Fellow Implantologists and hopes to continue his education to best serve his patients.
Dr. Makker truly believes in treating each patient like family and wants to work with them to achieve their best smiles while promoting good oral healthcare throughout their lives. He believes the best way to do this is by ensuring patients understand each option presented and allowing them to decide what best fits their needs.
In his spare time, Dr. Makker is a huge sports and car fan and enjoys every bit of the beautiful Pacific Northwest during summer. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi and loves practicing his Spanish every chance he gets! Dr. Makker looks forward to meeting you in the office.

I felt rushed and not listened to. I also felt like the goal was not my dental health but selling invisiline, tooth capping, fixing an already fixed problem area. The appointment was supposed to be an hour and i was pushed out in 20 minutes.

Dr, Makkar and his staff are super friendly, professional and personable. Truth be told I skipped out on my dental visits due to life/work etc. and Dr. Makkar and team never made me feel judged. They sincerely want to help you get back to optimal dental health. I naturally have anxiety but feel people are who are afraid of going to the dentist would do well with Dr. Makkar. During any kind of procedure and exam they check in with you to make sure you're ok. The office is very clean and they are efficient. I work in healthcare as well and I have never had to wait long both in the reception area and dental chair. Thanks for the awesome care Dr. Makkar and team!

Dr. Makker and his team were beyond amazing! Hands down the best dental experience I’ve EVER had. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and Dr.Makker made me feel at ease right away. I usually don’t like going to the dentist but now I look forward to my next appt! Thank you!
