She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and minor in Psychology from Boston University. Dr. Konfino graduated near the top of her class from Tufts University where she was the recipient of the Thomas B. Hunt Scholarship for academic excellence. After graduation, Dr. Konfino completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry residency during which she developed a passion for aesthetic dentistry. Dr. Konfino firmly believes that patient involvement and education are keys to successful treatment. She likes to get to know her patients and treats them with the same care and devotion she would treat her family. Dr. Konfino loves working with patients to help them achieve excellent oral health and improve their quality of life. Outside the office, Dr. Konfino loves to travel, cook, read, and try new restaurants. She currently resides in Newton with her husband. Dr. Svetlana Konfino won Top Dentist for Boston Magazine.
