About Dr. Teresita Porrata

With over 20 year’s of experience in the dental field, Dr. Teresita Porrata has joined the family of great Expressions Dental Center, where she offers a wide range of services for the patients of the community of Miami Gardens. In addition to general dentistry services, she also offers Invisalign orthodontics services as well as restorative implants services, ensuring that her patients have a one- stop-shop for all of their dental needs. Dr. Porrata had the inspiration to enter the field of dentistry as a teen, when she realized how much the classmates and even some of the adults she knew feared going to the dentist. She wanted to make the experience more patient-friendly and comfortable, and decided that the best way to do it was to become a dentist herself. Dr. Porrata is originally from Cuba, where she graduated as a dentist in 1998. She practice for 6 years in her country. After she migrate to the United States, she fulfill her dream of becoming a dentist in this wonderful country .She attended the University Of Florida, where she graduate from the 2 years program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Since May,2019 , Dr. Porrata is part of the GEDC family where she currently see a wide number of new patients, recalls and emergencies from Monday to Friday . She hopes that her work will continue to improve the dental health of the community, encouraging people to have more self-confidence to pursue the smiles they love.
