About Dr. Thanh Tang
Hello, I am Dr. Tom Tang. I grew up in a small fishing and farming community in southern Vietnam, where life wasn’t always easy, but it taught me the value of hard work and resilience. In the early 1990s, my family and I immigrated to the United States, searching for new opportunities and a better future
Reflecting on my family’s struggles with access to dental care, I found my calling in dentistry. With the help of a Health Professions Scholarship from the U.S. Navy, I earned my dental degree at the University of Kentucky School of Dental Medicine. After graduating in 2016, I served as a dental officer at Naval Station Norfolk and Camp Lejeune, where I gained invaluable experience and learned the importance of precision, compassion, and service.
When I returned to Georgia, I had the chance to work in both general and pediatric dental practices, further honing my skills and staying current through continuing education. Giving back has always been important to me, so I’ve spent the past two years volunteering at the Truth Community Clinic in Lawrenceville, where I provide free dental care to underserved families and serve on the clinic’s board.

My first visit was very detailed and through. The staff was very nice, and the place was extremely clean. When the Dr came in he went over my x-rays and examined my teeth. He explained everything he would do in detail. Highly recommended.

I had not been to a dentist for almost 20 years and had a lot of anxiety surrounding my visit the staff was wonderful! They were patient and kind. Every Question was answered and was treated with care and professionalism. The font desk staff even called me the night I made my appointment just to check in! My dental hygienist Carrie was amazing, apparently she was a temp, I’m looking forward to my next appointment for this upcoming Saturday! Here’s to continuing my whole health journey and excited that I found my forever dental care provider!!! 10/10 would recommend!

Highly Recommend! The whole process from walk in to leaving was seamless! Scheduling my appointment was so easy.
Dr. Thanh is very friendly and genuine. He slows down and takes time to explain my dental concerns, discusses them in detail which I greatly appreciated. I did not feel rushed and I felt my questions were welcomed and answered with care. Five stars!

I can confidently say that Dr. Tang is an incredibly honest and dependable dentist. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt at ease with the warm, professional staff and the clean, welcoming environment. Dr. Tang took the time to thoroughly explain my treatment options, never pushing unnecessary procedures, and always making sure I understood each step. He made sure I felt informed before making any decisions and never made me feel rushed through the appointment.
One of the things I truly appreciate is his honesty. Many dentists can recommend treatments that aren’t absolutely necessary, but Dr. Tang was transparent about what was essential and what could wait, which I greatly appreciated.
I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled dentist who genuinely puts patients' well-being first.
