About Dr. Thomas Maring

Maring Surgical has remained one of the most well-respected and prestigious Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery centers in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years. Dr. Maring received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at Oregon Health Science University, completing his programs with high honors and was awarded the Pierre Fauchard Award for highest clinical scholarship. He completed his externship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Maring then went on to complete his Doctorate of Medicine from UCLA Medical School in 1993. After finishing his internship in General Surgery at the UCLA Medical Center, he began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA School of Dentistry. He continued his training with a fellowship in Reconstructive Surgery in Edmonds, Washington, before opening his private practice in Downtown Seattle. Dr. Maring was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, but has lived in the Seattle area for over thirty years. When he's not practicing medicine, you can find him fishing, boating, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also has the privilege of working alongside his wife of over thirty years, Dr. Susan Maring. Dr. Susan Maring who is a periodontist, collaborates closely with Dr. Thomas Maring when treatment planning patients who are in need of dental implants and/or teeth extractions.
