Dr. Thomas Yoo received his DMD and MS in Oral Biology from Penn Dental Medicine where he also completed his residency training in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC) and Clinical Assistant Professor at Penn Dental Medicine, where he teaches graduate periodontics, perio prosth, and prosthodontics residents and is involved in research on digital workflow for implant dentistry. He concentrates his practice on surgical and restorative dental implant procedures, restorative therapies, and digital dentistry.

The doctor was nice and he did good work but Extremely overpriced services, I was informed that my insurance didn’t cover procedures when I was already at my appointment and that an out of pocket tooth extraction was very expensive, at this point I was in a lot of pain and had already missed work and essentially had no choice. Some saleswoman in scrubs then tried to upsell me to get a graft and to get an implant later. The cost of the graft was 4x what the extraction cost so I declined. I contacted a good dentist at Montefiore hospital after my appt and was quoted about 1/3 of the price for graft and implant and would’ve included extraction had I not gotten it here.
