About Dr. Thomas Yoo

Dr. Thomas Yoo received his DMD and MS in Oral Biology from Penn Dental Medicine where he also completed his residency training in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis (Fixed Prosthodontics). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC), an Associate Fellow of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics, and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Penn Dental Medicine, where he teaches graduate periodontics, perio prosth, and prosthodontics residents and is involved in research on digital workflow for implant dentistry. Dr. Yoo is an attending at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. He has also published articles in peer reviewed journals. Outside of academia, he concentrates his private practice on periodontal surgical procedures, restorative therapies, implantology, and digital dentistry.
