“waiting for my appointment i over heard the dr explain the treatment to the new patient sitting on the chair his assistant chiming in when the patient asked questions. when it was my turn the dr had gentle hands his assistant took a few x-rays and then the dr informed me i’d be needing a crown and a few extensions with my insurance covering most of the treatment and my out of pocket was reasonable according to my out of cost with insurance. made my appointment for next week. i’m excited for my new smile!! thanku dr luu for taking the time to see me.”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about this office. The staff is not only extremely friendly but funny!! We all know going to the dentist isn’t always a pleasant experience but this office will always try and make you feel as pleasant as possible. The Doctor is just as funny!! I only wish I could answer the questions when asked but my mouth is being worked on sooo I can’t answer them fully but I try and the assistants actually know what I’m saying lol. They also remember me!! I generally have some vivid colors in my hair and when I don’t, the entire office will ask me where’s my fun colors haha. I just love this office!! They make you feel welcome and they don’t hurt you!! Definitely recommend!! ”

Dr. Thuc Luu is a graduate of Boston University, Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He has been a dentist for several years and has completed multiple postgraduate courses in various fields of dentistry since receiving his degree. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Association.
Dr. Luu is dedicated to providing premium care to his patients. He stays informed about changes and advancements in both cosmetic and family dentistry. By keeping up to date with the latest developments, he ensures his patients receive the highest quality of care. Dr. Luu has extensive experience in many areas of dentistry, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, surgical treatments, and root canal therapy.
In his spare time, Dr. Luu enjoys reading, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his two boys, Ryan and Gavin.

I had a great visit with Dr. Luu! I've been lucky to have many friendly and welcoming dentists in my life, and I'm pretty sure Dr. Luu and his practice were the most friendly and welcoming. Everyone really cared about my experience and took time to explain what was going on. In the next room, I could hear snippets of a hygienist walking a young child through their visit and how to care for baby teeth! I loved my experience and am SO GLAD I found Dr. Luu!

Always kind, caring, gentle and a pleasant experience. I suffer from diabetes, osteoporosis and a nerve disease that makes me tremor, and this office is so understanding and works with me instead of getting annoyed when my body tremors. I’m very blessed to have found such a wonderful office.

I knew my teeth were in bad shape especially because I have medical issues but they didn’t treat me differently. They were very friendly, gentle, explained everything and made a plan. I’m usually very anxious at the dentist but they put me at ease. Lovely staff and dentist and office.
