Dr. Tony Huynh, DDS, MDS, CDT, FACP, is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist in full-time private practice and a part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Science degrees from UTHSC, where he also completed a rigorous three-year residency in advanced prosthodontics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Huynh specializes in comprehensive treatment planning and the reconstruction of complex dental conditions using crowns, bridges, dentures, and dental implants. His practice emphasizes implant dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, and the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), commonly referred to as TMJ disorders. For patients experiencing muscle-related jaw pain, tension, clenching, or grinding, he may incorporate therapeutic Botox as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. To improve comfort for patients with dental anxiety or those undergoing lengthy or complex procedures, Dr. Huynh also provides sedation dentistry, including oral and IV conscious sedation, when clinically appropriate. He integrates advanced digital dentistry into patient care through intraoral scanning, 3D CBCT imaging, computer-guided implant planning, and CAD/CAM technology. These tools help improve diagnostic accuracy, treatment predictability, patient comfort, and communication.
