He later moved to Utah and fell in love with the outdoors and enjoys fishing, hiking with his wife, and playing fetch with his Miniature Australian Shepard. His passion for dentistry stems from a lifelong interest in health and wellness, which was cultivated during his studies at Brigham Young University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. This background allows him to take a holistic approach to patient care, recognizing the connection between overall, and oral health. As a Golden Key International Honor Society Member, he demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence and community service. He furthered these skills by completing a two-year church mission in Madrid, Spain, where he learned Spanish and embraced every opportunity to experience and serve the diverse cultures that Spain has to offer. This experience has enriched his perspective and deepened his commitment to lifelong learning and service, and he is very excited to continue that tradition with the people of Jacksonville. Dr. Hansen completed dental school at the University of Utah School of Dentistry, where he honed his clinical skills and gained valuable experience through rigorous hands-on training. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and appreciates the unique blending of art and science. However, what he loves most is the ability to help those in need and truly change their lives. Dr. Hansen makes it a priority to provide the highest quality of care while ensuring that each visit is as comfortable as possible, and strives to treat each patient as if they were family.
