Dr. Schicktanz chose a career in dentistry because of the profession’s ability to positively impact health and improve the quality of life for patients. He received his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and proceeded to join a practice in Albuquerque, NM where he continued to hone his dental skills. By completing continuing education courses and receiving many hours of training, Dr. Schicktanz is now skilled in placing dental implants, completing advanced surgical extractions, has significant experience in removable and fixed prosthodontics (dentures and partial dentures), and is also a Certified Invisalign Provider. As a dentist, Dr. Schicktanz is passionate about helping his patients achieve their best oral health and enhancing their smile. He loves to help people feel better about themselves and finds it very rewarding to be a part of the process of helping them be more confident; for him, few things compare to being able to make a difference in someone’s life with his skills and knowledge! Outside of the office, Dr. Schicktanz can be found spending time with his wife and their two adorable children. They enjoy many outdoor activities together including hiking and biking. A few fun facts about Dr. Schicktanz: his dream home is a cabin in the woods, he played college baseball, and he is a huge fan of the Denver Broncos!
