About Dr. Troy Davidson

Dr. Troy Davidson was born and raised in Orem, Utah. After graduation from high school, he studied at Brigham Young University (BYU), served a two-year church mission to the people of Paraguay (becoming fluent in Spanish along the way), and returned to graduate from BYU with a Merit Scholarship to study dentistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After graduating, and receiving his DDS from UCLA, Dr. Davidson chose to further his education attending the General Practice Residency at the University of Virginia (where he served as the chief resident) and, soon afterward, decided to specialize in the field of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Davidson sought and was awarded the highly coveted single resident position in the Pediatric Dental Program at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. During this training, he simultaneously completed a multidisciplinary post-doctoral fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities. Shortly after completing his formal training, Dr. Davidson was awarded Diplomate status by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the highest distinction in this specialty. Dr. Davidson, combines extensive training and experience with a compassionate, fun, and professional approach. He takes great satisfaction in helping children have a positive, healthy dental experience, founded in a relationship of trust. As the father of four young children, Dr. Davidson relates to parents and their desire that their children receive the best possible dental care. Dr. Davidson has been heavily involved in service his entire life. He helped establish a South Central Care and worked with the Latin American Dental Society to provide dental care and education to underserved Los Angeles area children. He has also been involved in Habitat for Humanity and organized and managed a $35,000 fundraising operation to rebuild earthquake ravaged regions of El Salvador.
