“Dr. Chand and her staff were amazing. We just moved to the area and I was dreading the search for a new dentist because the experience can vary so wildly. I am so happy I found Dr. Chand on the first try (after reading a ton of positive reviews, both on ZocDoc and through other forums). She was incredible with my 14-month son during his first ever dentist appointment and she walked me through my dental issues in such a relatable and real way. She didn't sugar coat it but she was explained it all in a way that was easy to digest. She also didn't push a bunch of procedures or products on me. Despite having some cavities (which sadly I was expecting), it was such an enjoyable experience. She'll be our family dentist for a long time to come. ”

About Dr. Uppasna Chand
A native of Great Falls, VA, Dr. Uppasna Chand attended Langley High School in McLean, VA. Her undergraduate education was earned at Virginia Tech, from which she graduated in 2002. Dr. Chand then continued on to Virginia Commonwealth University for dental school, graduating in 2009 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Continuing her education both in-person and online, Dr. Chand has attended courses on occlusion and Invisalign®, in addition to all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the newest trends in dental technology. Currently residing in Vienna, VA with her husband, Samir, Dr. Chand loves spending time with her family. Her other interests include reading a good book, being outdoors, bike riding, watching movies, and trying new restaurants in the area.

She's amazing. I haven't been to the dentist in awhile but she made the visit easy, painless and made sure to walk me through what she was doing step by step so I was comfortable the entire visit. She also has tvs on the walls and ceilings which helped keep the focus off of the dental work. Definitely recommend her!

Excellent dental experience! I don't know too many people who like going to the dentist, but the hygienist, Katie, was thorough, very gentle, and explained everything I needed to know very well.
Dr. Chand is outstanding in every respect. Very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. She has been my dentist for the last couple of years and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good dentist!
