About Dr. Vered Maslavi
Dr. Maslavi is a Pediatric Dental specialist, the dental equivalent of a pediatrician. She and her staff are happy to provide dental care for infants, children, adolescents, as well as children with special needs. Dr. Maslavi received her dental degree from New York University. She went on to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at New York University, where she then served as Associate Clinical Professor for three years. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Queens County Dental Society.

My kids have been going to Dr. Maslavi for years. She was located in bay terrace. The staff are amazing and kind. My son always have an issue when taking X-rays I get stressed out, but the techs are so patient and the keep trying to put him at ease to get it done. Love Dr. Maslavi and staff

Dr. Maslavi is one of the best dentist I’ve ever met. She’s sweet, patient, loving and kind. She has a very gentle hand. My 3 children love and trust Dr. Maslavi. Definitely I recommend!!!!

Dr Maslavi's office was immaculate, staff was courteous, and Dr Maslavi herself was so personable and professional. It was my daughter's first dentist visit and Dr. Maslavi made her feel so at ease. I'm so happy to have found this office. Wait time was low just having to wait about 10 minutes before being seen. Would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dentist.

Overall, for my 2 year old son's first experience seeing a dentist, it was fantastic! Everything was pretty seamless. Dr. Maslavi had great bedside manner and was very energetic. She took the time to answer my questions and did a quick and efficient exam. The dental hygienist was awesome. Very pleasant and very knowledgeable with how to work with small children. I would highly recommend this practice to my friends.

The dentist and hygienist were very nice, experienced with children, and very informative! My daughter had a very good first experience...she came home excited to brush and floss her teeth! Definitely glad I found Dr.Maslavi we will be back in 6months! Another bonus was the doctors office had free valet parking! Just awesome!

Taking my 5-year old twins to the dentist is usually an epic nightmare, and it started that way. However, the hygienist was so patient and caring. She took the time to describe what was happening, ease their fears, use rewards as incentives, and gave them choices. It was amazing!!! We got through cleaning, x-rays and the exam with no tears or fear!! When Dr. Maslavi came in to do the exam, she explained everything in detail, took the time to answer questions and showed great concern! Highly recommended!!!

Great friendly staff that are good at dealing with toddlers. Dr Vered and her hygenist were great at guiding my toddler on the steps in dental cleaning. I was very surpised my child didnt get scared and enjoyed it!
It could be better if they have parking. It was quite difficult to find a pakring space in that busy area.

We were scheduled for 1st checkup. Instead in addition to check up, there was a 3 second tooth cleaning performed which we didn't schedule. I don't think a 12 month old baby requires a tooth cleaning on the very few teeth. We were not informed about that in advance; therefore, instead of paying for regular check up we ended up paying double. This is not a professional way to conduct business. The parent should be informed about this in advance of the service.

She is really nice and friendly, and so were the assistants! Gave great explanations and options. I saw 2 other pediatric dentists in different locations but I'm definitely sticking to Dr Maslavi!

The visit with Dr. Maslavi went very well. She's very nice. We can no longer visit here because the type of fillings that she does, my insurance does not cover or else she would be his new dentist,

I was very nervous about bringing my son to the dentist because he is terrified of needles and basically any type of check up. I thought that there was no way we were going to be able to have his cavity filled because he just wouldn't cooperate. After taking him to see Dr Maslavi I was pleasantly surprised. She knew just what to do to make my son feel comfortable and to my astonishment was able to give him a Novocain injection without him freaking out. Dr Maslavi was extremely professional and her techniques to get my son to cooperate were amazing. I highly recommend this practice to all parents. Don't worry about your hesitant child because this dentist knows just what to do.

Dr. Maslavi did a great job with my son's first dentist appointment. He cried because it was an unfamiliar experience and also the appointment needed to be moved earlier (conflicting with his nap schedule). Hopefully my son will become used to visiting the dentist every 6 months. Parking is a little tough near the office, but it's manageable near the adjacent side street. My only suggestion is to replace or clean some of the chairs in the waiting room because some have coffee stains. Other than that, it was a great experience and I'm glad my son is in hands of a great pediatric dentist.

The dentist came in right away and was extremely friendly to my 3 year old; she talked to him, made him feel comfortable and he was not scared at all.
Then she said we would have to wait for the hygienist for the cleaning. We waited about 10 minutes - I forgot her name, Sha--- she was excellent, extremely friendly and talked my son the whole way through the 15 minute cleaning. My son turned out to be so brave because the staff was so friendly and non-intimidating. I was so happy with the service. Front desk was friendly as well.
This visit was better than my last one. Today we went on a Tuesday, last time I went on a Saturday. I guess Dr Vered was rushing the last time. Today she spent a good 5-7 minutes with us and did not make us feel like she was rushing to her next patient, even though she was.

The dental assistant - FLO was really great, she had great bedside manners and explained everything to us, the parents, and my child. She did the mouth xrays without any protest from my child. The dental hygienist Pat was good too, friendly and engaging for my child. The last part when Dr Maslavi came in was very rushed, she came in and barely introduced herself. She should have slowed down to make the introduction to us and to our child. My child was scared initially during the dental exam because she didn't give a slow timed introduction and just wanted to examine her teeth quickly. She spent maybe 5 minutes with us and we felt her "rush." Bedside manners so-so. Surprised because she's a pediatric dentist, she should have slowed down to spend the effort and time.
