About Dr. Viet Tran

Viet Tran was born and raised in nearby New Orleans, LA. After graduating with a business degree from the University of New Orleans, he wanted a career that focused on helping patients and Dr. Dennis Russo DDS, who is his mentor, showed him the amazing field of dentistry. He was then accepted into LECOM School of Dental Medicine and made patient care and comfort his number one priority. After dental school, he attended a top dental residency program at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Orlando, FL where he developed advanced surgery skills, implant placement and full mouth rehabilitation. During his off time, Viet enjoys exercising, hiking, volunteering and spending time with his dog “Nola”, that he rescued from the shelter.

I would definitely recommend Dr.Tran. He's very patient with me as an adult that has such difficulty at the dentist. He communicates very well about what steps need to be taken and why and recovery after the dental procedures I've had have been seamless.
