About Walied Touni
Dr. Touni grew up in Cairo, Egypt. He completed his science education at Cairo University, where he received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with honors. He further continued his training at the same university, completing a residency in General Dentistry for one year, followed by an additional three years in Prosthodontics.
Dr. Touni immigrated to the US in 1998 and owned his private dental practice in San Jose for several years. To pursue his true passion in Orthodontics, he decided to sell his dental practice and attended the University of the Pacific, where he completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Genetics, then earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and his Master's degree.
Dr. Touni is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
He is currently serving as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he teaches clinical Invisalign to pre-doctoral dental students.
During his fellowship years, Dr. Touni participated in preparing several Rotaplast missions worldwide to treat patients with cleft lip and palate. He also joined a highly trained team of plastic surgeons, nurses, and speech therapists on a mission to Lima, Peru, to help diagnose and treat children and adults with cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Touni is a member of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
He is married and has two beautiful twin daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to classical and jazz music, and playing squash and tennis. Dr. Touni also loves to watch soccer in his free time.

Very pleasant atmosphere and staff. They offer a positive environment that makes all feel welcome. Dr. educates the patients with visual and computerized model to fully know what to expect. His voice and thoughtfulness shows he is a loving and caring individual. This office is a definite asset to the Dental industry. From a former Assistant who knows the difference.

Dr. Touni has been our VERY favorite! He is professional, kind, personable, and we have complete confidence in him. He has a fantastic staff, and they all have explained everything we needed to know with patience, answered every question, and never rushed. Everyone has been very attentive and very knowledgeable!!!
I would give more than 5 stars if it was available!
My two 15 year old daughters are extremely pleased with their braces, and we as the parents feel that their orthodontic work is secure and very well planned out by Dr. Touni. Every staff member, from smiling, organized, helpful Tina at the front to the patient, gentle orthodontic assistants, has been amazing, polite, professional, and caring.

Dr. Touni did is an excellent dentist in every aspect, he has worked on my teeth and did an incredible job straightening them out and making them look great. He is a professional with years of experience and well dedicate to his patients. He did a remarkable job adjusting my teeth and waited for the right moment to move the braces, the process took about two years, and it all worked well. It was a pleasure working with him, he made the process as easy as possible. I can honestly recommend anyone interested in having an excellent job done, should ho to him for the best performance.

We had the pleasure of working with Dr. Touni while he was doing his residency in San Francisco at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry where he was working in the Orthodontic Department. He was kind, professional and patient with my daughter. He put her at ease during the two years we worked with him as well as keeping us informed of her treatment plan the entire time. His case won "Best Case Started and Finished by a Resident." This was quite an honor. Dr. Touni perfected my daughters smile. I could not be more grateful to him. When I look at my daughter her smile just radiates - all thanks to Dr. Touni.

Office and staff are extremely welcoming. The office is clean and very professional. The doctor was able to provide us with options and was very patient, he is friendly, knowledgable and thorough. He explained everything very clearly and answered all my questions.
