“Dr. Wen Li is by far the best provider I’ve had in New York City. I’ve always experienced some anxiety with my dental visits but this has been entirely removed in working with Dr. Li. You are immediately comforted the moment you walk in the office. Her staff provides a very family like atmosphere, ensuring you feel welcomed, questions are answered, insurance is always approved ahead of time, and that you have clear visibility as to what to expect in your appointment. Dr. Li’s bed side manner is also exceptional. She is extremely personable and educates clearly and concisely informing you of all of your dental options. I’ve been seeing Dr. Li for a number of years now and I whole heartedly trust her medical opinion. From my experience sadly in the dental world you may come across a lot of “car salesman” personalities and fortunately here, I experienced nothing of that nature. Dr. Li cares for her patients wholeheartedly and it shows.”

“I first came to Dr. Wen 4 years ago and she’s been my dentist ever since. Before that I haven’t been to the dentist in 4 years and felt both ashamed and terrified. I sobbed uncontrollably in her waiting room because I have a major phobia of the dentist that just completely takes over. Dr. Wen and everyone on her team sat with me and shared their fears and phobias until I calmed down and felt more at ease. They were so dedicated to making me feel comfortable!! She also told me that I should never feel ashamed and that I made a big step even coming in to her office. Now at every visit, she reminds me of the amazing progress I’ve made and that my teeth have gotten so much better!! Which is music to my ears being someone who has such a fear. Dr. Wen never rushes and always takes the time to chat with me (and all her patients) explaining in detail everything she’s doing and making me feel calm and at ease. She’s so talkative and I love it so much because you literally forget you’re at the doctor! She’s funny, warm, so caring, and an excellent dentist!! I cannot recommend her enough.
If you have any sort of phobias around this kind of stuff, do yourself a favor and go see her!
I always have issues with my teeth, from fillings to root canals, you name it. But I know I’m in the best hands with Dr. Wen - she’s truly like an angel on earth. She will make you feel calm and comfortable and well taken care of. You may even forget you’re at the dentist! ”

About Dr. Wen Li
Dr. Li-Cavallo grew up in the lower east side of Manhattan. She graduated in the top 10 of her high school class.
From her teen years she suffered from severe gum pain, but in her second year of college two local dentists guided her to good oral health and taught her how to care for her mouth in way that eliminated her pain. She was struck by their generous care and the dramatic impact of their expertise, and the experience inspired her to consider dentistry for herself as a career. She attended Stony Brook Dental School and got her DDS degree in 2003. She then went on to a residency program at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, where her work received high praise (she was called "the best resident" by the general residency director).
Dr. Li-Cavallo enjoys hiking, white water rafting, jetskiing, reading, and bikram yoga. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and also speaks some Spanish. Dr. Li-Cavallo is very proud to be a New Yorker, and her ties to the neighborhood run deep: besides going to high school just a couple blocks away, she got married across the street from her practice at Transfiguration Church!
