About Dr. Werner Visage

Dr. Werner Visage received his American Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), when he graduated from the prestigious International Dentists Program (IDP) in 2016. Here, the Dental Honour Society gave him the Dr. Kramer S award in 2015 and awarded him Honour Society Membership in 2016. He also received awards for Clinical Excellence and Mentoring at UCSF. He attained his first dental degree from University of Pretoria, South Africa in 1999 and a Specialist degree in Periodontics and Oral Medicine (2006). During this time he served as Secretary of the South African Society of Periodontology and still holds specialist registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. The most enjoyable part of his career is getting to know the patients’ needs and being able to play a role in improving oral health. Dr. Visage is truly passionate about dentistry and believes in long-term patient care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Sacramento District Dental Society. He strikes a balance between professional and personal life, and maintains fitness through outdoor activities with his family.
