Dr. Brownstein has been in practice for almost 30 yrs and has been located on the North Shore in Manhasset for this time. He was born on Long Island and resides now in NYC. He graduated from NYU School of Dentistry in 1986 where he earned his D.D.S. degree. His goal as an Endodontist is to perform quality care to his patients. He did his general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and then did his specialty training at Nassau County Medical Center and earned his degree in Endodontics in 1989. He has published many articles in the field of Endodontics and was one of the first to utilize Digital Radiography in New York. He has appeared on Cablevision to discuss this topic. He is one of the first endodontists to utilize endoscopic microscopics as well as being well trained in 3D Cone Beam Radiography. He has been voted in TOPDOCS as one of the top endodontists in his field for the fourth straight year. Dr. Brownstein has two daughters and one son, Harris, and is a National Qualified bodybuilder who enjoys sports, weight training, and automobiles.

I have a few root canals done somewhere else. Decided to try Dr. Brownstein since he's in-network with my insurance, it was definitely a different experience. He showed and explained the x-ray and the CT scan, I had no pain and no regrets on trying him.

Root canals are new pleasant. I've had 2 since I've lived in NY, both done by Dr. Brownstein. The guy seriously knows what he is doing and inspires immense confidence. He won't let you down. Could not reccomend a better endodontist.

I was very nervous because this was my first root canal, but Dr. Brownstin's calm and confident bedside manner alleviated these concerns. He took his time explaining the whole procedure to me and before I knew it the procedure was over and I was heading back to work pain free.
