About Dr. Winston Young

Dr. Winston Young grew up in Fremont, CA and studied at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, as well as a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in piano. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Southern Alameda County Dental Society. Dr. Young served as a dentist in the United States Navy for four years after graduating from dental school. He was first stationed in Groton, CT for two years, where he mostly provided care for submariners. Then he was assigned with the Seabees, the construction battalion of the United States Navy, in Port Hueneme, CA for two years. During that time he was deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Dr. Young continues to educate himself through continued learning and makes it a priority to stay up to date with advancing technologies and techniques for an improved patient experience. Dr. Young is delighted to connect with short and long-term patients at San Francisco Dental Partners and form lifelong relationships. He is honored to serve our community and to play a role in improving patients' health. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Young enjoys playing piano and basketball. He is married to his wife Jennifer and they have a Chihuahua mix, called Podo.
