About Dr. Yashashwini Bangalore Marappa

Dr. Yashi is Board-Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She finished her Pediatric Dental Residency at Icahn School of Medicine affiliated with Bronx Care Health Systems after completing a General Practice Residency at the same hospital. Dr. Yashi is committed to staying on the razor’s edge of her profession by continuing her education and training in pediatric dentistry. She is dedicated to providing her pediatric patients with the most complete and comprehensive treatment while ensuring each patient is treated in a safe, comfortable and caring environment. Her emphasis is on prevention and helping our little patients achieve the highest level of oral health, function and smile. Dr. Yashi has spent considerable time on outreach programs during her schooling and residency in New York. She is dedicated to providing services and awareness to her community. She visits local schools and provides information that emphasizes the importance of oral health to young school kids along with participating in local community fairs. Dr. Yashi maintains membership in prestigious organizations including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Northeast Society of Pediatric Dentists, and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Yashi was also chosen as NJ's Favorite Kid’s Doctor in the field of Pediatric Dentistry for the Year 2019 and the Year 2020. Dr. Yashi currently lives in Ramsey with her husband and little daughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family along with traveling the world. Dr. Yashi also enjoys designing exotic jewelry and clothing as well as spending a day baking assorted treats with her little pastry chef daughter.
