Dr. Yazan Akkash earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Prior to that, he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Jordan.
Dr. Akkash's mission is to provide high-quality dental care to his patients while maintaining a comfortable and friendly environment. His top priority is to promote good oral and general health by educating patients of all ages about various dental diseases, with a special focus on methods of prevention. He is dedicated to enhancing his skills and advancing his knowledge in dentistry by attending continuing education courses and workshops to ensure he provides the best evidence-based treatments available.

The office was clean. I was seen promptly. I was contacted regarding my insurance. However, even after confirming that the office would be able to treat root canals at 9am that was not the case. I wasted the ENTIRE Friday waiting on this appointment 1:30pm and now no other dentist in the city is available until next week. I’m in extreme pain and the dentist didn’t even right me a prescription.
