About Dr. Yelena Mikhaylova
Dr. Yelena Mikhaylova currently practices at Alla Hart, DDS, PC. Her primary focus is and will always be her patients, as she uses her extensive experience to provide the highest level of cosmetic and surgical care in a gentle and compassionate manner.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Mikhaylova is based in Bayside, NY, and is dedicated to serving the Queens and Long Island area.
Dr. Mikhaylova is fluent in English and Russian, which makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. During her consultations, she explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong dental health. Dr. Mikhaylova is committed to advanced continuing education, attending lectures throughout New York where she focuses her studies on Cosmetic Dentistry and Full Mouth Rehabilitative Treatments.
Dr. Mikhaylova is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists. She completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the New York University School of Dentistry, where she also completed a prestigious fellowship in Surgical and Restorative Implants, earning her surgical and restorative implant fellowship certification. She became Chief Resident at Woodhull Medical Center in affiliation with NYU Langone, where she completed advanced aesthetic and surgical dental training. She also holds an advanced education certificate in cosmetic dentistry.

Was very pleased with the dentist. Young and very knowledgeable. I went thinking i may had to have veneers done which most likely werent covered by insurance but she managed to fix them without needed veneers. Now ill refer her to others

I was very grateful that Dr. Mikhaylova was able to see me on a Sunday for an emergency repair. I was nervous due to Covid still being around but I felt safe in the environment and they took me in quickly & on time. They were very professional & did a great job with my repair. I've been seeing my own dentist for over 25 years but it's good to know that when he is not available, Dr. Mikhaylova is a great option. I would recommend her based on my experience there.

She was so rude. I understand oral health is a big deal, but some people struggle with anxiety and phobias, the dentist being one. The fact that I even went to the dentist was a big step. She was very judgmental and snobbish. Maybe if she had a little more compassion I would have stuck with her as my dentist. For that reason alone I will not be returning to the office.

I don’t even know where to begin. The entire staff is so friendly. They really make you feel welcome and comfortable. Not one person in that office is anything shy of wonderful. Dr. Mikhaylova was PHENOMENAL. She was so knowledgeable and had such a welcoming personality. I had such a wonderful appointment. Went in for a routine cleaning for the second time, and I won't go back to her again. She spent time answering any questions I had and took more time when I went in for the first cleaning -- probably to make a good first impression on a new patient. But the second time around, she wasn't thorough with the cleaning and didn't even bother to ask me if I had any questions -- she spent 5 minutes on the cleaning and I had to ask her the questions that I had, and it all felt really rushed. Her assistant was also not great at what she did. Overall, I won't recommend going to her.

My visit with Yelena Mikhaylova, DDS went great. I have had fears of dentist and some bad experiences in the past but this by far was the best experience I have ever had. She is very professional and friendly and her staff models the same. Everyone treated me well and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that I needed to know from coverage to personal care. You can tell she really loves what she does and cares about her patients. She walks you through everything you need to know and the treatment you will receive, and really gets to know her patients and their needs. She works thorough and as gentle as possible. I totally recommend Her. Thank You Yelena Your awesome.

I thought the staff was very friendly and professional. I went in for a teeth cleaning and even though it wasnt a super invasive procedure there was minimal pain and my teeth felt great after. I will be coming back the next time I need a cleaning!

I visited this office for the very first time and there's nothing I can point out that I dislike. From the receptionist to the tech that took my ex rays to Yelena Mikhaylova, DDS., they were all very kind and helpful.

Dr. Yelena Mikhaylova and staff gave me the best experience I ever had at the dentist. The staff was very professional and polite. They made sure all my questions were asked and answered. Adding to their excellent professionalism was Dr Mikhaylova’s gentle work. Her hands were very steady and I was very comfortable on that chair. They seemed very passionate in their work which was what really inspired me to write this review. Because I think that’s what matters most in any profession. We were able to discuss all my options and the whole process was not rushed like most dental offices. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mikhaylova to anyone and most definetly will be coming back here for check ups.

I was impressed by Dr. Mikhaylova form the moment I walked in the door. She had a very nice and responsive front desk in a very clean office. I didn’t have to wait long at all to be seen by the doc.
The doctor was very pleasant and took a lot of time in describing all my issues and made sure I was satisfied with my questions in my treatment plan. I loved the cleaning I got; Dr. Mikhaylova uses a special instrument that cleans with warm mouthwash instead of just water. I was also very happy that she was able to go further in my first visit and start working on my cavities. The fillings look so good and natural compared to fillings I got elsewhere. I’m very excited to start my cosmetic work with a very competent doctor I trust!
