About Dr. Yina Yoon

Dr. Yina Yoon received her bachelor’s degree in cognitive science from the University of Virginia, where she discovered her passion for dentistry after volunteering at a free dental clinic. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in Bronx, NY, and then a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Yoon is a Board-certified pediatric dentist who loves working with kids. She is compassionate and sincere, striving for excellent oral health in each and every patient. “Treat like you want to be treated” is Dr. Yoon’s philosophy, and her mission is to create the most comforting dental experience for each patient. In her leisure time, Dr. Yoon enjoys spending time with her husband Sang, daughter Caroline, and dog Tory. She loves to cook, travel, and practice Pilates.

She was very patient with my boys. Worked very gently with them. The office, the examination room, the patient set up was super clean. I really appreciate the fact that she changed her gloves several times during the time we spent there. It was a great experience as a fist time seeing her.
